Hamm's musical star Uwe Kröger has managed to step into the international limelight. The 27-year-old plays one of the leading roles in Elisabeth--a Theater an der Wien production which is awaited throughout Europe with great interest. With this world premiere the well-known actor Peter Weck leaves his job as manager, after making Vienna a musical metropolis with his sensational productions. For the 27 year old Kröger, whose parents' home is on Weetfelder Strasse, this is a special challenge.
